Warranty Terms

Börner Distribution International GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “Börner”) provides a Börner warranty for the V-shaped stainless steel blades of the V1 ClassicLine, V3 TrendLine, V5 PowerLine, and V6 ExclusiveLine that extends beyond the two-year statutory warranty, covering a total of five years from the date of purchase.

Terms and Conditions:
1. Only the V-shaped stainless steel blades are covered by the Börner warranty. All other parts, such as the base, inserts, feet, or other accessories, are not covered by the Börner warranty.

2. The Börner warranty applies exclusively to the purchase of a new product and exclusively to consumers and the original purchaser of the product; it is non-transferable.

3. The Börner Warranty is valid only if the buyer registers with Börner on the Börner website (
www.boerner.de
) under the “Börner Warranty” menu item no later than one month after the product’s purchase date, in accordance with the following provisions, after providing the required information. Registration is generally completed by entering the following customer data: name, address, email address, phone number, product serial number, date of purchase, and place/platform of purchase. Furthermore, the registration process is outlined in the aforementioned menu item, which must be followed. Börner reserves the right to change this information at its own discretion, in which case the updated version shall apply. The time of registration does not affect the start date of the Börner warranty, which begins on the product’s purchase date.

4. In addition to registration as described in Section 3, a prerequisite for asserting a claim under the Börner warranty is proper use and maintenance, in particular in accordance with the product’s user manual. The warranty expires if the product was not used for normal household purposes and as soon as modifications are made to the device. It also expires, in particular, if the serial number has been altered or otherwise becomes illegible or is no longer fully recognizable. It does not apply to normal wear and tear. Except for the extension of the warranty period in this case, the remaining terms of the warranty remain in accordance with statutory provisions. The warranty period is not extended due to the provision of services under the warranty; in such cases, the warranty period does not restart.

5. The warranty holder may assert the rights under this warranty against Börner by submitting a written notice of defect to Börner Distribution International GmbH, Industriegebiet Börner 1, 54526 Landscheid-Niederkail, via email to:

within the warranty period. A further prerequisite is that the warranty holder must report the defect within one month after discovering it or after the time when they should have discovered it. It is the responsibility of the warranty holder to prove that the warranty period has not expired or lapsed (for example, by presenting the proof of purchase, the sales contract, or similar documentation).

6. In the event of a warranty claim, Börner may, at its discretion, repair the product, replace it, or refund the purchase price to the warranty holder. In the event of a replacement, the old product will be replaced free of charge with a new product of the same type and quality.

7. In addition to the rights provided by this extended warranty, statutory rights remain unaffected. This warranty also does not affect the rights that the original customer/consumer has against the seller from whom the original customer/consumer purchased the product.

The place of performance for the obligations arising from this warranty is Börner’s registered office. To the extent permitted by law, the venue for legal proceedings is Börner’s registered office.
